For guest ordering, we collect the name, mobile number, complete delivery address and area/landmark that you provide during checkout. We also process order items, prices, order status, delivery-partner information where applicable, and support communications needed to provide the service.
The website may use browser storage needed for application functionality, including customer order-tracking references, temporary application state and the authenticated Khaubaaz customer session.
How we use information
We use customer information to create and fulfil orders, provide delivery support, communicate order status, handle customer requests, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain service security, improve operations and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Customer account sign-in is optional. Khaubaaz supports Google Sign-In through Supabase Auth; guest checkout remains available without a customer account or OTP.
Google Sign-In
If you choose to sign in with Google, Khaubaaz uses Google OAuth through Supabase Auth to authenticate your account. We may receive basic identity information returned by Google, such as your email address, display name and provider account identifier, for account authentication and security.
Google Sign-In does not automatically grant Khaubaaz permission to send WhatsApp messages. WhatsApp order updates remain a separate, optional consent flow.
WhatsApp communications and consent
Khaubaaz may send order-related or support messages through WhatsApp only when the customer has provided the relevant mobile number and explicitly opted in to receive WhatsApp messages. The checkout consent is optional.
The consent recorded by Khaubaaz is for order-related/service communications. Marketing communications require separate consent.
Information used for these messages may include the customer mobile number, name, order reference, order status and message content required to provide the requested service.
You may withdraw WhatsApp messaging consent or ask us to stop these messages by contacting support@khaubaaz.com or +91 94616 94673.
Sharing and service providers
We may use service providers for hosting, database operations, authentication, security, communications, customer support and related service functions. We share only information reasonably needed for the relevant purpose and where required by law.
Information received through a WhatsApp conversation is not shared with another customer.
Retention
We retain customer and transaction information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security and dispute-resolution requirements. Where deletion is not legally restricted, we will delete or irreversibly de-identify applicable information on a verified request.
Your choices and deletion
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of applicable personal information by contacting support@khaubaaz.com or visiting https://khaubaaz.com/data-deletion.
A request to Khaubaaz does not delete your WhatsApp or Meta account itself. Use the controls provided by WhatsApp or Meta for those accounts.
